At Motorlager, our guiding principle is simple: a satisfied customer is a good customer. Every policy we have is built around that belief — designed to meet legal standards while creating a transparent, trustworthy experience for everyone we work with. We believe that clear terms lead to better relationships, so we've set everything out in plain language below.

Payment

Full Payment Required Before Processing

All orders are processed only after the invoice has been paid in full. We do not begin preparing or dispatching an order until full payment has been confirmed. This ensures a smooth, no-delay fulfilment process for every customer.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept payment by bank transfer. Once your transfer has been received and cleared, your order moves immediately into processing.

Delivery & Transportation

Safe, Secure Packaging

Every engine is carefully packed in a purpose-built protective box before dispatch. Engines are robust but sensitive to handling — we take packaging seriously to ensure your order arrives in the same condition it left our workshop.

Pre-Shipment Photography

Before any engine leaves our facility, it is photographed in full. This provides a clear record of the engine's condition at the point of dispatch, protecting both the customer and Motorlager in the event of any transit-related dispute.

Shipment Tracking

Every order is assigned a unique tracking number. Customers can use this to monitor their shipment in real time and check the estimated delivery date at any point during transit.

Advance Delivery Notification

We operate a personal advance notification service for every shipment. Before your delivery arrives, we contact you directly so you can coordinate with the courier and ensure someone is available to receive the engine. No missed deliveries, no surprises.

Delivery Partners & Timescales

Our Logistics Partners

We work with trusted European freight carriers — DB Schenker, RABEN, and DHL — to ensure fast, reliable delivery across the continent.

Delivery Times

Standard delivery across Europe takes 2 to 5 business days, depending on the destination address and carrier routing.

Delivery Costs

Delivery fees range from €100 to €250, depending on the size of the shipment and the destination. The applicable delivery cost will be confirmed at the time of order.

Warranty

Reconditioned Engines

12-Month Warranty All reconditioned (rebuilt) engines supplied by Motorlager are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery.

Reconditioned & New Cylinder Heads

12-Month Warranty New and reconditioned engine cylinder heads are also covered by a 12-month warranty.

New Factory Engines

2-Year Warranty Engines supplied new and direct from the manufacturer carry a full 2-year factory warranty in line with the manufacturer's terms.

Warranty Documentation

A warranty document is issued with every engine sold and attached to the invoice. This document sets out all applicable terms and conditions in full. Customers are expected to read and comply with the stated requirements — failure to do so may affect warranty validity.
