Data controller
UAB Automobilių industrija, company code 305466097, Lithuania, email info@motorlager.eu, is the controller of personal data processed through this website.
What we collect and why
When you send an inquiry we store the details you provide – name, email address, phone number, engine code, VIN, registration number and your message – together with the page you sent it from and the language of the site. We use this data to answer your request, prepare an offer and fulfil an order. The legal basis is the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into one (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).
A VIN or registration number can identify a vehicle and therefore its owner. We use it exclusively to identify the correct engine variant.
Cookies
This website uses three categories of cookies. Necessary cookies are required for the site to work – they remember your language and your cookie choice and cannot be switched off. Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Marketing cookies may be used to measure the reach of our advertising. Analytics and marketing cookies are set only with your consent.
Your choice is stored in a cookie named nmt_consent for 12 months. After that, or if you clear your browser data, you will be asked again.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page.
Sharing and transfers
We share data only with service providers needed to fulfil an order – carriers (DB Schenker, RABEN, DHL), our hosting and email providers and accountants – under data processing agreements. Data is stored within the European Union.
Retention
Inquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted after 24 months. Order and invoice data is kept for 10 years as required by Lithuanian accounting law.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to processing and to data portability. Write to info@motorlager.eu. You may also lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt) or your local supervisory authority.
