About this engine
This Volkswagen DAV engine was completely disassembled, measured and machined in our workshop. The block and cylinder head were resurfaced on Rottler equipment, and all wear parts – pistons, rings, bearings, gaskets, seals and timing components – were replaced with new ones. The engine was assembled to factory tolerances and is covered by our 12-month warranty.

How we rebuild
From worn core to 0 km engine
01Strip & inspect
Every core is fully disassembled, cleaned and measured. Cracks, wear and warping are documented before any machining starts.
02Rottler machining
Blocks are bored and honed, heads and decks resurfaced, crankshafts ground and polished on Rottler CNC equipment to factory tolerances.
03Assembly with new parts
Pistons, bearings, gaskets, timing components, oil pump and seals are always new. Clearances are checked and recorded for each unit.
04Test, crate, ship
Compression and oil pressure are verified, the engine is sealed, crated and dispatched across Europe within 2–5 business days.
