How we rebuild the EUR5
01Strip-down and inspection
We strip, clean and measure the engine. The block and head are checked for cracks.

Machining
Cylinder boring and honing, sleeving where needed, and skimming of the block and head faces.
03Assembly
New piston rings, bearing shells, gaskets, oil seals and timing components.
04Final check
We check the engine and include the warranty documents and fitting instructions.

A reconditioned EUR5 engine comes with a 12-month warranty, provided it is fitted by a garage in line with our fitting instructions. It is not in the catalogue at the moment – we will give you a delivery time once we have checked our stock. We ship with DB Schenker, RABEN or DHL.
Do I need to return my old EUR5 engine?
Yes. The old EUR5 engine must be returned within 10 days of delivery: complete, drained of fluids and on the same pallet. We arrange collection ourselves.
